I just received a call from Greenpeace Africa and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the phone ringing. I felt a mix of excitement and anxiety, wondering if this was the moment I had been waiting for. Could they be calling to offer me the Communication and Advocacy role?

As I answered the call after quickly muting Alexa and saying a prayer, Jennifer from Greenpeace Africa introduced herself. I was eager for her to get to the point, hoping she had good news for me, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Instead, she explained that the organization was seeking funds for their third case hearing on GMOs in Kenya.

We shared a laugh about the irony of the situation and wished each other a productive day. While there's no lesson to be learned today, I wanted to share this story. Goodbye for now!
